Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Fixed Income Technology
Location: Hybrid (Monday and Friday remote)

Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to support and maintain the Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) platform and manage Fixed Income and Investment Compliance projects. This hands-on role involves coordinating release planning, production support, and continuous process improvement within a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will excel in planning, communication, and leadership, ensuring successful deployment and maintenance of SaaS trading platforms while delivering a favorable work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Release Planning & Management:
- Develop detailed release and project plans, accounting for dependencies and timelines.
- Oversee software enhancements, production patches, and related updates.
- Coordinate release schedules with stakeholders across IT and business units.
Production Support:
- Open and manage tickets in ServiceNow, CRD, and Jira for incident resolution.
- Plan and support weekend patches, SaaS failover testing, and other interfaced enterprise applications.
Communication & Coordination:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and manage testing schedules.
- Lead weekly change management meetings to align production deployments.
- Maintain and distribute weekly status reports and related documentation.
Process Improvement:
- Participate in daily scrum and release planning meetings to streamline development processes.
- Continuously enhance the release management workflow.
Risk Management:
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth release operations.
Monitoring & Quality Assurance:
- Lead Jira scrum meetings to track progress and summarize weekly outcomes.
- Work with QA teams to ensure releases meet quality standards.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in project management, including vendor management.
- Proven history of supporting SaaS platforms and defining release/project plans.
- 3+ years using Jira for issue tracking.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and the ability to pivot between them.
- Leadership capabilities to resolve production support issues and guide teams effectively.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years as a Developer or Scrum Master supporting a SaaS platform.
- Understanding of capital markets with experience in Fixed Income asset management.
- Technical vendor management expertise.
- Familiarity with complex interfaces, trading applications, and related technical environments.
